I purchased a 29ib Varang. This is my first bow from Sarmat archery and also my first longbow. I am amazed by how light and beautiful it is. It feels incredible in the hand and is much nicer to shoot than a few modern recurve bows I have experienced. The draw feels smooth and it shoots accurately. The best bow I've had so far.
I bought a Jurchen bow, and after that my score numbers have just rose to the top! Never, ever in my life have I had a more reliable, fast, beautiful and handy bow than this. This is my best buy in my archery history. Absolutely perfect and priceless work from Saramat archery - you are masters of the elements! wrapped version. It’s a gorgeous piece, I have always wanted a hank-yu. Picked one up from sarmat years ago and couldn’t resist getting another!

This a really great bow. Light weight,accurate to and since I am retired from work I can spend hours everyday shooting by bows. I have 3 bows from Sarmat Archery and so I have the opportunity to shoot them all and I shoot the Giray for several hours almost daily. But I have say that I also shoot my Varangian Lux and the Mamai bows both on the inside and outside targets. All are great bows.

Great little Bow for a great Price!
Beautiful bow that follows the elegant lines of japanese bows. It arrived to Argentina well packaged and faster than I had expected. Though I had no previous experience with japanese bows I managed to be accurate with it from the start. Mine is 71", 35 pounds at 28 inches but it feels more powerful than other bows of similar draw weight. As I am left handed I ordered it with a slight offset of the string to the left. Very good customer service that anwered all my questions without delay. I am very glad with my purchase.
I have come to expound on the excellence of the Orhan bow acquired from Samrat archery. I love Asiatic recurve bows. I had several and several broke. To the point I have a sixth sense developed for structural integrity. So when I say this bow draws smoothly and has the tell tail hallmarks of a very well designed and made bow. The bow satisfies my personal credibility as a self-learned expert in quality. Well done indeed i will absolutely recommend this bow maker and will do business again soon.
